Chef Joe Olson

Chef Joe Olson has been a part of Chef Brian’s organization for over two-years, coming to Cinco Lagos from Chef Brian’s Forest Grill in Birmingham.

Joe is another born and raised Michigan chef, hailing from Lapeer.  Joe attended culinary school at the Cordon Bleu in Chicago, and before graduating he knew that he would be returning back to Michigan to work for Chef Polcyn.  He landed a position at Forest Grill before the doors even opened, becoming an original staff member of Forest Grill.  Showing promise, skill, and dedication, Joe’s two-years with Forest saw him move from a line cook to the position of sous-chef, a well regarded position in the industry.

Cinco Lagos is excited to have Olson join the kitchen staff and to be a part of the Milford community.  Olson is an avid hunter, enjoys traveling, and currently resides with his wife in Holly.
